Let's build something that lasts.
Tell us about your project — a new build, a migration, or something that's not quite working. We'll give you an honest read and a clear next step.

A short call to understand the goal and whether we're the right fit.
Honest scope, timeline and price — no surprises later.
Questions, answered.
How long does a typical Shopify project take?
It depends on scope. A focused theme build is usually 4–6 weeks; a full custom store or platform migration is more like 8–14 weeks. We give you a realistic timeline up front and keep you posted throughout.
What makes On the Road different from other Shopify agencies?
We're small and senior by design — the people who scope your project are the ones who build it. We focus on measurable results, write clean maintainable code, and stay on after launch rather than handing over and disappearing.
Do you provide training and support after launch?
Yes. Every build includes handover and documentation, and we offer ongoing support plans covering monitoring, fixes, enhancements and continuous optimisation.
Can you help migrate my store from another platform?
Migrations are a speciality. We've moved stores from Magento, Cart.com, WooCommerce and BigCommerce — preserving data, SEO and uptime. RVinyl's move to Shopify Plus involved over a million SKUs with zero downtime.
What are your pricing models?
Most projects are fixed-scope, fixed-price from £10k–£100k+ depending on scope. Ongoing work runs on monthly retainers from £2,500/month or hourly, whichever suits. We'll recommend the right structure once we understand the project.
Do you work with startups or only established businesses?
Both. We've worked with bootstrapped startups and established brands alike. What matters is that the project is a good fit and we can genuinely move the needle for you.
What AI capabilities can you integrate into my store?
Practical ones that earn their keep — product recommendations, customer-service automation, inventory forecasting, dynamic pricing and content tooling. We add automation where it helps, not for the sake of it.
How do you make sure my store is optimised for conversions?
Conversion work runs through the whole build: fast load times, clear UX, mobile-first design and a checkout that gets out of the way. After launch we A/B test and refine based on real analytics.
